BMW R100 Paris - Dakar Homage

Based on a 1977 BMW R100, this bike was built by Laurent Monti – who is widely revered in Europe for his work with BMW motorcycles – as an homage to the 1984 Paris-Dakar winning BMW GS ridden by Gaston Rahier.  
The bike is finished in white with a period-correct BMW livery on the fuel tank, which is accented by a bespoke red leather-trimmed seat, red grips, and red suspension fork bellows. 
Modifications from its original specification include the fitment of uprated forks, a bespoke seat unique to the bike, a yellow headlight, and a matching yellow spotlight, which apes the French specification headlight on Gaston Rahier’s BMW GS.
